Meet our Director of Marketing, Anh Cao. We sat down with her to learn about her career in tech, why she got involved with Crown, and what advice she has for people looking to work in marketing at early-stage tech companies.

Brad spent more than two decades as a technology development engineer with Hewlett Packard, specializing in advanced displays, flexible electronics, 3D printing, electrokinetic inks other innovative technologies. In 2020, he joined Crown’s engineering labs in Corvallis to continue working on electrokinetic technologies, which captured his imagination as an HP engineer.

Too many startups just assume the VC road is the only one available and commit themselves to it without understanding the pros, cons or alternatives. Direct listing is a more efficient, investor-friendly and results-driven way to raise capital as a startup. More early-stage companies should strongly consider it.

Alex spent 10 years as an engineer for Hewlett Packard, where he specialized in robotics and printing technologies. As much as he loved this work, over time, Alex felt a growing need to align his professional career with his personal passion for climate change and sustainability issues, which brought him to Crown Electrokinetics in late 2020.
